Gerd Winner studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin. He is a freelance artist and illustrator and a professor of painting and printmaking in Munich. His photorealist screenprints done with Chris Prater at Kelpra Studio in London, are close observations of buildings in various cities of the world.
