This beautiful Polish Krakowianka folk vest always brings precious memories from my childhood in Poland where I was born and raised. I received this special gift from my parents when I was 6 years old, a vivid memory of mine, and I wore the vest during many special cultural events in my school. I brought this vest when I moved to the US, hoping that one day if I were to have a daughter she could wear it to represent her heritage. My dreams came true and my daughter, Natalie, wore this vest during her school's international day celebration. Now the vest is waiting for the next generation. I also have an adult version of this same vest which I wear during the annual International Festival and other Polish cultural celebrations
