I traveled to America about four months ago in order to expand my education
with my four other sisters. It has been a difficult transition, because I must learn everything so quickly, but I know I am protected by my necklace my father gave me. This necklace reminds me of home because of what my father said as he gave it to me, “Dae, remember my daughter, you will have my heart.” Since my father is still overseas, it is wonderful to know he is always with me.
